The Boyu FEF series range of external canister filters are a high quality, low noise and extremely reliable filter suitable for aquariums up to 300 litres in size. There are two filter models in the FEF range. The smaller FEF-230 has a flow rate of 800 litres per hour, and will filter an aquarium up to 200 litres. The larger FEF-280 has a flow rate of 1000 litres per hour, and will filter an aquarium up to 300 litres. These filters are supplied with all pipework and fittings to allow for easy setup. This filter model boasts easy disconnecting drip-free valves on the inlet and outlet pipes, assisting easy maintenance. Features: 1. Easy Priming. Simply pump the priming lever to start the flow of water into the filter. 2. Individual shut off valves. This allows for easy maintenance of the filter. 3. Inlet and outlet taps are rotatable through 360 degrees, allowing for installation into confined spaces. 4. Filter media basket handles. These allow for quick and easy removal of the filter media from the filter. 5. Layered filtration - large capacity baskets for customisable filter media setups. 6. Full UK model filters with 3 pin UK plug attached.
